The CTE, Mangaldai has been conducting 2 years B.Ed. course from 2015 as per revised recognisition order issued by ERC, NCTE, Bhubaneswar. At present the intake capacity to the 1st year B.Ed. course is one basic unit i.e. 50 students. We maintain minimum 200 working days in a calendar year excluding examination and other days. The minimum working hours of the college is 36 hours in a week. There are opportunities for interaction, discussion and revision of course material everyday between faculties and trainees. In course work and practicum 80% attendance is compulsory and in internship 90% attendance is mandatory. Every year we conduct workshop on Yoga, Drama and Art in Education, improvised teaching aids and micro-teaching etc. Also we conduct sessional test and writing of assignments to evaluate the trainees internally.
Apart from our 2 years B.Ed. course we are conducting 2 years D.El.Ed course under National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) department of school education and literacy, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India, New Delhi and Krishna Kanta Handique State Open University (KKHSOU), Guwahati. We are also involved in adopting two nearby secondary schools namely Dekargaon High school, Dekargaon and Mangaldai Town High School, Mangaldai under Mission Uttaran for quality improvement of the students. Besides the above academic programmes we observe national programmes namely Human Rights Day on 10th December and Communal Harmony week from 19th November to 25th November and Vigilance Awareness Week as per direction of Govt. of India every year. Also we conduct Swachh Bharat Abhiyan from time to time.
