The College of Teacher Education (CTE), Mangaldai has several specialized departments dedicated to providing quality teacher education, professional development, and educational innovation. Each department plays a vital role in supporting pre-service and in-service teacher training, curriculum development, and educational research.

Pre-service Teacher Education (PSTE):
Focuses on the initial training and preparation of future teachers through the B.Ed. programme, equipping them with essential pedagogical skills and knowledge. -
In-service Field Interaction & Innovation Co-ordination (IFIC):
Organizes professional development, workshops, and field-based activities for in-service teachers to enhance their teaching practices and promote educational innovation. -
District Resource Unit (DRU):
Acts as a resource hub for schools in the district, supporting curriculum implementation, teacher training, and educational outreach programmes. -
Planning and Management (P&M):
Responsible for institutional planning, administration, and management of academic and co-curricular activities. -
Work Education (WE):
Integrates work-based learning and vocational education into the curriculum, fostering practical skills and self-reliance among students. -
Educational Technology (ET):
Promotes the use of technology in teaching and learning, including ICT integration, digital resources, and e-learning initiatives. -
Curriculum and Material Development and Evaluation (CMDE):
Engages in the development, evaluation, and revision of curriculum and instructional materials to ensure quality and relevance in teacher education.
